"The 2004 Finis Terrae is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. and spent 15 months in 75% new small French oak barrels. Purple-colored, it has an attractive bouquet of pain grille, spice box, cassis, and black cherry. On the palate the wine is a bit firm with some hard tannin in the finish. Several years in the bottle may round this wine out at which point my score will appear conservative.">88 pts, -Jay Miller, Wine Advocate
